A GEORGE III MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK. the 13" arched moon phase dial signed John Taylor, Manchester, with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, on a two train movement striking to a gong, the case with fluted column detail, scroll and flowerhead pediment and imitation brickwork, with pendulum, two weights and winder, 236cm high.
Re-polished and restored, some scratches and lifting to veneer on case, ends of brass finials bent, one finial missing it's support, seconds hand loose, section of case moulding needs re-attaching.
