Medals (5) of 15864 Serjeant Clarence Pattison of the Coldstream Guards. 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal 1914-1920, Allied Victory Medal 1914-1918, Jubilee Medal 1935, and Coronation Medal 1937. Wagon repairer of Sheffield. Enlisted on 24th March 1915. Landed in France with 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards on 21st December 1915. Received a gunshot wound to the right thigh on 9th October 1917 and admitted into 47th Casualty Clearing Station R.A.M.C. Promoted Serjeant on 21st November 1917. Returned to England to attend No. 6 Officer Cadet Battalion in Oxford on 10th May 1918.  Discharged to Commission on 3rd February 1919. Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the West Yorkshire Regiment on 4th February 1919.
