Guillaume Gustave Berggren (Swedish, 1835-1920) and others, sepia photographic views in Istanbul, Egypt, topographical, figures. (loose in an album). Provenance: the vendor offers the Berggren photos depicting historic records showing the Suez Canal and showing ships in dry dock. Mosque Constant which is a port in Rumania, unveiling ceremony of the Ferdinand de Lisseps statue at Port said, Cimetieres Anglais Scutari, etc. Capt.R.J.Radcliff D.O.B. 1879, sailed with the Pacific Steam Navigation Company which was formed in 1838, operating to South America from Liverpool. It was sold to the Royal Mail Line in 1938. The Berggren photo's also depict Suez Canal and also some ship in dry dock.
