Industrial - an archive of letters issued by the Beetall Manufacturing Co of South Shields in 1898/9 - The considerable archive of letters were written from the Company's Head Office in London to the local management in South Shields, and provide a remarkable insight into the industrial scene at the end of the 19th c. The Company manufactured irons for laundries, and the various letters discuss supply, disputes, complaints, price ranges etc etc. In remarkably good condition.
