Sheppard, c 1880, no number, 44½” overall, browned twist barrels 28”, nitro proved in 2006, the top rib engraved “G Sheppard, 54 High St, Taunton”; the signed locks engraved with game dogs and birds and scrolls, the frame and trigger guard scroll engraved overall; walnut stock with chequered fore end secured by flat wedge, and wrist, and with horn butt plate.
