Gillows & Co - Lancaster - An Aesthetic Movement late 19th century ebonised wood & gilt finished glazed library bookcase cabinet. The cabinet having a shaped gallery back with turned finials to side and turned spindles throughout, central florally carved panel. Straight flared top below with pair of drawers to frieze. Each with twin brass ring handles. Left drawer marked Gillows & Co, 13563. Twin glazed cabinet doors below revealing a shelving interior, the doors flanked by reeded gilt detailed sides. All raised on straight supports.
