S. R.', and France Libre. With Order National de la Legion d'Honneur presented to Miksche in original cardboard tube, and the certificate for the Medaille Commemorative. Accompanied by empty original medal cases. Frame measures 69cm x 50cm approx.
Ferdinand Otto Miksche (1905-1992) was a Czech Captain and military writer, the author of a number of works on World War II in Europe. (2)
