A large pair of late 19th century French porcelain baluster vases, the pierced dome covers with pine-cone finials, the waisted necks painted to the reserves with portraits of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette on a bleu ciel ground, the waist friezes painted with continuous friezes of family parties in interior and exterior settings, gilt Royal cypher to the stemmed foot, underglaze incised numbers under foot, 66 cm high
