A Suspected Rudall, Carte & Co Flute, solid silver (XRF tested). With original leather bound case and original label still attached inside. Belonged to the vendor's grandfather, Brig-Gen Edward Simonds De Brett (1902-94), who was the descendant of the founder of Debrett's book of peerage. Generally in very good condition, slight denting to the lip plate (see photo). Total length 665mm, Embochure to foot joint 600mm and Gross weight 427g.
