China; French Post Offices; 1874 cover to London with six of France Cérès 40c (3-strip, pair, and single) each cancelled by "5104" lozenge cancel of Shanghai. On the front are also two faint strikes of French Shanghai c.d.s. and small red boxed "PD", on reverse French "Ligne" c.d.s. and London receiving mark. Cover has been roughly opened, causing part of one stamp to be torn off. Cover has crease at lower left and some general wear.
