A Swiss commemorative "Holbein" dagger, the 8½" blade etched "700 Jahre Schweizer Eidgenossenschaft" (700 years of the Swiss Confederation) and Swiss cross in shield, the hilt with gilt brass mounts and wooden grip, in its elaborated embossed grey metal sheath with gilt finial. VGC. Some German Third Reich daggers were modelled on the "Holbein" dagger. £150-175
