Circa 1876, with a black and red painted fence design and crested a lion rampant with scallop shells and a gauntlet and sword, impressed marks, and retailers mark for John Mortlock, Oxford Street, comprising a milk jug, bowl, a large plate, two smaller plates and two cups and saucers.
