Framed and glazed
The picture is framed under glass and has not been removed for inspection. The colours appear to be reasonably clean and bright, but are likely to have faded somewhat over time. The paper may also have darkened somewhat over time. There is some fine foxing across much of the sky the sky at the top of the picture, with a larger fox mark behind the windmill. The frame shows some losses to the gilt finish, revealing expected red paint below.
