A late 19c French four glass clock in oval brass case with bevelled oval glass side panels and doors, the case decorated with leaf shape feet and a leaf formed knop to the case top . The movement rack strikes on a bell and has a 15cm dial with white enamel chapter ring with arabic numerals and a floral gilt mask to the dial centres. The clock stand 45cm tall overall.
The going train click mechanism is not working so cannot be wound and the strike side mechanism is reluctant to strike. The oval glasses and the dial are undamaged. The front door handle is missing and there are four holes to the front base where a band of decoration was probably attached. The case is tarnished.
