A PINK SILK DRAWSTRING PURSE, possibly early 18th century French, the four shaped panels couched in silver thread with a scrolling foliate design, terminating in a ball and tassel and with five (of six) metal rings threaded with the drawstring, lined in white silk, 6 1/4" high excluding tassel (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
The 2 exposed sides are quite faded and grubby, but the 2 inner sides are still bright (both silk and thread). Interior quite good and clean though fraying on top rim.
