MICROSCOPE SLIDES: a collection of late Victorian and assorted 20th century microscope slides of flora and fauna, many with hand written labels, housed in three wooden and five card boxes, two of the wooden boxes are fitted with trays, the third has loose slides, suppliers labels include Flatters & Garnett of Deansgate, Manchester, George Wilks and Wright Astley, the later slides include two NBS sets and two sets from Japan (8) (Condition report: mixed condition, some of the earlier examples have chipped edges or are unlabelled)
