Late 19th Century Italian School. An Interior Scene with Figures, Oil on panel, bears a Signature 'Giovanni Baldini', 9.75" x 12.75" (24.8 x 32.4cm). Notes: Bought in Ways Riddett Auction in 1981 with a note stating this work was given "personally to Mrs Margaret Little, former governess to the Czars of Russia (1870-1904). Boldini and Mrs Little became friendly during his stay in this country where he was under the patronage of the Duke of Sutherland. Their friendship was renewed in Paris in 1875 where this gift was made"
