A MASSIVE FOUR BORE FOWLING GUN BY VEISEY OF BIRMIGHAM. With an 89 cm barrel, approximately 26.5 mm at the muzzle, with brass tipped ram rod below. The percussion firing action with fish shaped hammer, the backaction lock engraved 'Veisey' amongst scrolls and a pheasant, the trigger guard similarly decorated. Half stocked with 'German Silver'fore-end cap and steel but plate. 103 cm overall length.
