WW2 British RAF Halifax Flight Engineers flying log book group to 1488684 Joseph Harold Hands, later Sgt, later Flying Officer: comprising of: Airmans Pay Book dated 1941: Log Book begins 9/7/44 at 1666 Conversion Unit, moves to 426 Sqd on 8/9/44 completing 31 Ops by 2/2/45 when he was "Screened". Further non operation flying until demobbed in 1946 having completed 222 daylight hours and 202 Night Hours. Also included in this group are: Private Photo album with over 20 unpublished photos of him and the crew in flying kit along with their aircraft etc: original "Pilots Notes" books for Halifax III & VII and Stirling I, III, IV: Hercules VI & XVI Fuel Compsumption Indicator Calculator: "ABC of the RAF" and "For Your Guidance booklets": Pay slips, notes, RAPC shoulder title, etc. New to the market.
