Pattern 1837 Brunswick Sword Bayonet, double edged spear point blade 21.5". Ricasso stamped "VR" and "Enfield 1848". On the reverse is an Enfield inspection mark and the initials "W.S.". Ribbed brass grip with locking release catch. Th epommel is marked "2/17". A fine original example of this scarce bayonet, collector grade condition
