A PEWTER SPOUTED DOMED-LIDDED BULBOUS FLAGON, POSSIBLY ENGLISH, CIRCA 1700. Having a pear-shaped body, flat-domed lid, twin-cusp thumbpiece and single strap handle with lower flush attachment, unidentified touchmark to the underside of the base, 27cm high
A comparable spouted bulbous flagon, attributed to England, formerly in the A. T. Isher and David Little Collection was included in Christie’s, King Street, ‘The David Little Collection’, 1 May 2007, Lot 149.
