Former Bristol Zoo Gardens - the original large scale Tortoise Shell, originally situated alongside the Giant Tortoise enclosure. Fibreglass construction. Designed to allow visitors to climb inside, this exhibit is fondly remembered by children who visited the zoo over the last thirty years or so. Measuring approx. 151cm long x 93cm wide. Removed since photography (July 2024).
