Edwardian brass-mounted oil lamp, with amethyst acid etched baluster frilled shade above a Youngs Duplex burner and compressed globular cut glass reservoir, on a brass fluted column base, 64cm high excluding chimney
Discolouration and surface wear throughout brass fittings. Residue, appears to be candle wax, to base. Surface wear, scratches and grime throughout glass shade, chimney and reservoir. One small chip to reservoir. The burner comes free easily and the reservoir unscrews easily from the base. No evidence of any attempted electirical conversions.
