Cantonese famille rose floor vase, late 19th Century, having a slender ovoid body, trumpet neck and shoulders with applied gilded salamanders, and with panels of birds, figures and foliage against a gilded and green scrolled ground, height 63cm
The gilt is rubbed on the handles and the salamanders at the neck. We have found no further damages or restorations.
