A worksplate BEYER PEACOCK & Co Ltd, Gorton Foundry, Manchester 1910. From a standard gauge 0-4-0ST, Works No 5408, named OLWEN, new to the Minerva Lime Company, Minerva near Wrexham. Spent all its working life there until scrapped in December 1964. Beyer Peacock worksplates from industrial locomotives are not common. Cast brass, 17"x8", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
