William III 1696B half crown, fine, from the wreck of the Association which sank of the Isles of Scilly on 22nd October 1707. On board was Admiral Clowdisley Shovell and 2000 lives were lost. The coins were raised by divers of the Isles of Scilly Underwater Centre in 1973. With accompanying certificate.
