A LATE 18TH CENTURY ‘OLD SHEFFIELD’ PLATED SILVER ICE BUCKET, circa 1795, the bucket has four bands of reed detail to the boy, with a pair of bull ring handles held with lion heads one to each side; engraved with a crest to one side. The bucket has three parts; an internal removable bucket, the rim-lid that caps the space between the outer bucket and inner bucket & finely the external bucket. A very well made of antique silver plate; still functioning over 250 years after it was first made. Dimensions: 19.5 x 21cm H x W – external. Internal: 15 x 12cm.
