Original vintage alcohol drink advertising from a magazine for the fortified wine based aperitif Dubonnet (since 1846) featuring an iconic illustration by the notable poster artist d'apres A.M. Cassandre (Adolphe Mouron Cassandre; 1901-1968) depicting a stylised image of a man wearing a snow covered bowler hat, blue scarf, mittens, smoking the pipe and standing at a small table with a glass of wine, the caption reads - Dubonnet vin tonique au quinquina - French tonic wine liqueur made by the Carthusian Monks at the Grande Chartreuse monastery since 1737. The reverse of the page features an advertising for Parfums Pinaud fragrance Preface, featuring an image of a lady's silhouette coming from a bottle of perfume, caption reads - A gift that will be for you.
