AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY VERGE 30-HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK, the elm case of small proportions having a swan neck pediment and shaped trunk door enclosing an 8 1/2" square brass dial with winged cherub head spandrels and silvered Roman chapter ring surrounding a scroll engraved centre fronting a lantern style weight driven posted framed movement with verge escapement striking on a bell.
