A very large and impressive pair of Chinese carved stone vases and covers. Carved with Buddhistic lions to the covers above pierced dragon and phoenix loop handles, the bodies carved to both sides with dragons chasing flaming pearls. The stone of a yellowish green tone with russet striations. Supported on black soapstone stands. 39.4 in (100 cm) height including stands.
Condition report: Some minor surface wear with age.
