WWII ARMY CENSOR MAIL: 1940-42 collection of army privilege mail, the majority with "FIELD POST OFFICE" c.d.s.'s and assorted censor cachets inc. 1940 Canadian YMCA env. to Canada with FPO "2" cds, "ON ACTIVE SERVICE" and boxed crown censor "2384" cachets in purple, 1941 env to Barnstaple with scarce FPO "307" cds and crown in triangle censor cachet, 1942 Active Service env. to Leeds with scarce FPO "308" cds and crowned circle "PASSED BY CENSOR/No./3193" cachet in purple, 1942 env to Middlesbrough with (partial, top off env) scarce FPO "305" cds, crown in triangle censor cachet and examiner tape "5914" at left, etc. A fine range.
