An amethyst and diamond pendant, the central cushion cut amethyst measuring approx. 28mm x 23mm x 17mm, claw set in yellow metal to a surround of twenty-eight round brilliant cut diamonds, each weighing an estimated 0.10 carats, all set in white metal, suspended on a diamond set pendant bail, length of drop 50mm, weight 22.3gms
When viewed with the naked eye, the diamonds face-up appear bright and white. No obvious hint of yellow in their colour.
With a 10x lens, inclusions are visible - most a colourless, but some are black. These are not visible by the naked eye.
Condition is good, no chips or fractures to the central stone, some light scratching only. Some wear to the claws, but central stone is in tact. All diamonds are present and in tact. All settings are in tact, no denting or splitting. There does appear to be a small area of solder to the loop attaching the pendant to the bail. Please see additional pictures for reference.
