No original frame and poorly held. The edges of the painting have scuffs and a crescent shape area of paint loss from moving around the frame, between the gate posts there is a vertical line approx. 4cm long, of paint loss, some craquelure, small amount of overpainting to the edge of the thatch and climber on the right hand building, a little on the edge of the other thatch and a little in the shadows around the base of the trees
