A FIRST WORLD WAR TRIO TO THE ARGYL AD SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS. A Great War trio comprising 1914-15 Star named to S-4751 Pte J. Beveridge A & S Highrs, War Medal and Victory Medal similarly named to Beveridge as a Corporal. James Beveridge fought with B Company the 12th Battalion from the 10th September 1914 until the 9th July 1919. He disembarked on the 19th September 1915 and suffered a compound fracture as a result of a gunshot wound to the left humerus on the 19th September 1918 and was awarded silver war badge B/252161. He was 35 years old at the time of his discharge. *CR New ribbons, slight marks to surfaces. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
