A Victorian walnut sewing table of trumpet form, the thumb moulded octagonal lid opening to eight shallow compartments around one deep lidded central compartment of dark green silk, raised on three splayed legs with carved knees terminating in pad feet, 17½ x 17½in. (44.4 x 44.4cm.) x 27½in. (69.8cm.) high.
*Water damage to top and small split to moulded edge at back, small chip to under side of lid near key mechanism, silk interior in excellent condition, one leg has been separated from the base but repair is very hard to see.
