A SECOND WORLD WAR AND LATER GROUP OF SIX TO AN OFFICER IN THE ROYAL ARMOURED CORPS. A group of six comprising 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with 8th Army clasp, Italy Star, War and Defence Medals, all unnamed and issued and General Service Medal 1918-62 with Palestine 1945-48 Clasp named to Capt C.H. Vallance R.A.C. Mounted as worn. 2nd Lieutenant from August 1938, Captain from 11th October 1946, later listed on the Reserve with the Royal Tank Regiment Captain Vallance was a casualty during the Second World War when he was wounded on the 11th May 1943 whilst serving with the 40th Battalion of the Royal Tank Regiment in Tunisia. *CR Good condition as worn with faded and slightly grubby ribbons.
