The TR6 was introduced in 1968, and was the best-seller of the TR range when production ended in 1976. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, but the front and back ends were squared off. All TR6 sports cars featured in-line six-cylinder engines, and was fuel-injected for all markets except the US, hence the TR6 PI designation. The Lucas mechanical fuel injection system helped the home-market TR6 produce 150 bhp at model introduction. Later, it was detuned to 125 bhp.

The TR6 featured a four-speed manual transmission with an optional overdrive. It also featured semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15" wheels and tyres, pile carpet, bucket seats, and a full instrumentation. Braking was by front disc brakes, and drum brakes at the rear. A factory steel hardtop was optional, requiring two people to fit it. The TR6 dashboard was wooden, and factory options included, a rear anti-roll bar and a limited-slip differential.

This is a very sound dry state US import. Originally brought into Holland some years ago, and never worked on, it is now back in the U.K. The body has never been welded, and although the boot lid, and offside front wing are non original, the car is very sound, with only light surface rust in external places. Missing parts include rear lights, Hood assembly, and windscreen. Interior has suffered due sun damage, and needs replacing completely. The engine turns, but has not been running. A good rebuild project.

NOVA certificate 17E260008 with Dutch customs papers.
