1942 (11 JY) censored cover from Johore Bahru to Muar, franked by 1942 8c grey (chop "H" = SG 151), tied by despatch cds with red Japanese censor mark alongside. Assessed as underpaid with m/s endorsement "Containing 2 Letters. To pay 16cts" and "T" in triangle tax mark on face, the deficiency paid (on reverse) by 1942 Johore 8c orange postage due (chop "H" in black) vertical pair, tied by Muar cds, dated "14 JY 2602". Opened on three sides for display, and faintly toned, still a fine and rare usage. BPA cert (2007), SG JD3a, £3,000
