Hilare (Barlow) Knight, born in 1791 and daughter of Admiral Sir Robert Barlow. First married Captain George Ulric in 1817. Five years after his death in 1824, she married William 1st Earl Nelson (older brother of Horatio Nelson), and held the titles Countess Nelson and Duchess of Bronte (1829-35). Two years after her second husband died, she married George Thomas Knight (1795-1867), a famous English cricketer, member of the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) and second son of Jane Austen's brother, Edward Austen Knight. Hilare died in Paris in 1857.
