A rare William IV silver hallmarked sliding propelling pencil with engine-turned barrel and slider ring, the screw off terminal has an inset polished stone - the hallmarks read S.M. G.R. (Sampson, Morden & Gabriel Riddle) London 1831 (partnership lasted between 1825 - 1836) - it is also stamped S. Mordan & Co. Makers and Patentees. Weighs 16.6g approx.
