A Derby Named View shaped circular plate, painted by John Brewer, Near Coxbench, Derbyshire, within a gilt cartouche, the border with alternate red, blue and yellow flowerheads linked by gilt scrolls, 21.5cm diam, crown, crossed batons and D mark in blue, pattern no. 178, 1795-1800
The service has erroneously been refereed to a the Blenheim Service but there is little evidence to support this according to John Twitchett.

Firing crack to approx 4 o’clock.. Very slight wear to the gilding and decoration.
