A Manhattan Fire Arms Manufacturing Co Revolver in .36 calibre cap and ball, 4" barrel 5 shot, matching serial numbers #3720 throughout, in outstanding condition, double action, cylinder engraved with military (mainly naval) scenes. Action works, some pitting to cylinder, walnut grips present and in good order, brasswork very good, front sight present. Dates to 1859 - certainly pre-January 1860 when Series I production ended - this is a late Series I weapon with the 'T' inspection mark stamped to the underside of the barrel flat.
