A Staffordshire portrait figure of Sir Henry Havelock on horseback, painted in polychrome enamels with gilded details, mounted on a naturalistic, titled ovoid base with raised gilt capitals, 27cm high. Note: Major-General Sir Henry Havelock (1795-1857) was a British general who is particularly associated with India and his recapture of Cawnpore during the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
