R.M.S. TITANIC: Arguably the most important White Star Line porcelain item in private hands today. A Spode R4331 Oceanic Steam Navigation Company cobalt blue and gilt dessert plate, a pattern known in some circles as The Millionaires Service for use exclusively on Titanic and Olympic. A handful of cups and saucers are known in the style but this plate is even rarer, it bears the all important gilt O.S.N.C to the centre with White Star Line. It is thought that this is the only Oceanic Steam Navigation Company example outside of the Spode Museum and Titanic's wreck site. 9ins.
