A late 19c French carriage clock, the two train movement having petit and grande sonnerie striking on two gongs and having an alarm facility and repeat button. The movement has a lever platform escapement and a rectangular white enamel dial with Roman numerals. It is contained in a glazed gilt brass gorge case standing 19cm tall (handle raised).
movement seems complete and runs but chimes continually and needs cleaning. Glasses are undamaged. Face has two hairline cracks running thru the lower dial to about 1". Case has rubbing to gilding on handle.
