the bowl is well potted with six steep sides that rise from a conforming base set atop a circular foot. The exterior panels are well decorated with alternating roundels of phoenix and writhing five clawed dragons, all amongst scrolling clouds and in tones of the famille verte palette. The interior is decorated with a writhing dragon and the base is glazed and bears the six-character reign mark of Kangxi within a double circle in under glaze blue.
