Edward IV silver Groat, light coinage (1464/5-1470), Bristol mint, quatrefoils by neck (S 2004, North 1580). Obverse: crowned facing bust with 'B' on breast and quatrefoils to either side of the neck within a tressure of arches, sun mintmark. Reverse: long cross pattée with three pellets in each angle, 'VILLA x BRISTOLL' in the centre. Weight: 2.80g. Diameter: 24mm. Grade: F - a little short on flan with an edge chip, blueish tone to centre, Fine with legends weak.
