A LATE 18TH CENTURY IRISH SILVER GEORGE III SNUFFER TRAY, with a date letter for 1798, and maker’s mark of I.S for John Sherwin. The tray is of boat shape and has raised pierced sides, decorated with bright cut engraved decoration with a central stag within a bright-cut wreath. 25 x 9.5cm (Length x depth). Weight: 4ozt. There are some old solders to the piece; photographed.
