Provenance: Charles Cheers Wakefield, 1st Viscount of Wakefield, GCVO (1859-1941) founder of the Castrol Lubricants Company and millionaire philanthropist. He served as Lord Mayor of London 1914-5 and was knighted in 1908. Wakefield was created a Baronet of Saltwood [Castle] in the County of Kent and elevated to the peerage as Baron, subsequently Viscount, Wakefield of Hythe in the same county
