A LARGE AND CHARMING GEORGE III INSCRIBED AND DATED HORN POWDER FLASK, CIRCA 1806. The wider end with a sheet iron hinged domed-lidded compartment, the other end with turned wooden stopper, the body engraved 'WILLIAM DUNNING HELPERBY 1806' atop 'Be quick my dear and bring sum beer' over 'Is good to have a friend but bad to Want one', 46cm long Helperby is a village in North Yorkshire.
